Candy Pants

Primeiro: por quê tanto tempo? Andei em época de exames, final do primeiro semestre, e não consegui trazer-vos nada mais cedo, não tive mesmo tempo.

Segundo: por quê o termo “candy”? Estas calças lembram-me doces, não me perguntem porquê, mas olho para elas e sinto que são “doces”. Sinestesias maradas.

A tentar aproveitar o tempo que faltava antes de o sol se pôr, por entre rochas e mato, este foi o resultado final. Estas calças, que comprei já no ano passado, foram daqueles pares “amor à primeira vista”. São da Zara, enxadrezadas a azul e vermelho/bordô, com aquele pormenor do porta-chaves do robô “broken love” (sim, tem o coração partido, desgostos), são um par bastante engraçado e divertido para vestir!

A elas, juntei-lhe uma camisola de gola alta azul escura e uns sapatos bordô, por forma a conjugar com as cores das calças. Juntei um casaco preto porque infelizmente não tenho nenhum bordô nem azul, mas o preto tem o poder de conjugar bem com qualquer coisa.

É um dos meus outfits favorito, uso-o várias vezes porque é uma ótima combinação de cores e contraste xadrez/liso. Espero que também tenham gostado, digam-me as vossas opiniões nos comentários!!

Em relação a leituras, comprei “O Amor É Fodido” do Miguel Esteves Cardoso. Confesso que estou a gostar, é uma leitura diferente daquela que estou habituado. E tal como o robô “broken love”, “O Amor É Fodido”.

First of all: why so long? I was doing my final exams at the end of the first semester, and I couldn’t bring you anything sooner, I didn’t had time.

Secondly: why “candy”? This pants remind me of candy, don’t ask me why, but I look at them and I feel like they’re “sweet”. Messed up synesthesias.

I was trying to take advantage of the time I had left before the sun went down, between rocks and bushes, and this was the result. These pants, which I bought last year, were “love at first sight”. They are from Zara, blue and red/burgundy check pattern, with the detail of the “broken-heart” robot’s keychain (yes, his heart is broken), they are a very funny pair to wear!!

I added a dark blue high-necked sweater and a pair or burgundy shoes, to match the colors of the pants. A black overcoat (unfortunately I don’t have a burgundy or a blue overcoat), but black has the power to match with anything.

This is one of my favorite outfits, I use it many times because it’s a great combination of colors and contrast (chess/smooth). I hope you liked it too, tell me your opinions in the comments bellow!!

Regarding readings, I bought “O Amor É Fodido” (Love is Fucked Up) by Miguel Esteves Cardoso. I confess that I’m enjoying it, it’s a different reading comparing to what I’m used to. And just like the “broken-heart” robot, “Love Is Fucked Up”.

Pink Marries Black Again

Primeira publicação de 2018!! Neste mês, janeiro, vai fazer um ano de existência. O primeiro aniversário do blog. E por isso, antes de vos mostrar o que tenho para hoje, quero agradecer a todos os que me incentivaram a trabalhar no blog, a todos os que me apoiaram, muito obrigado pela vossa contribuição e pelo vosso apoio, estou bastante feliz com aquilo que já tenho feito, e nada me deixa mais feliz do que continuar. Muito obrigado, Latibuleanos!!

E bem, começamos o ano com uma das minhas peças favoritas. Este blazer rosa foi uma das minhas prendas de quando fiz 18 anos, fiquei tão feliz por tê-lo conseguido. Gosto bastante de usar rosa, como sabem. E gosto, principalmente, de casar o rosa com o preto, acho que fica uma combinação bastante agradável visualmente.

O rosa volta a reaparecer as meias, um dos meus pares favoritos, e apesar de não se notar bem, mistura-se bem com pequenos detalhes vermelhos da camisa, que é de padrão floral. Todo o resto do outfit é preto.

First post of 2018!! This month, my blog celebrates a year of existence. Its first anniversary. In addition, before I start talking about what I’ve got to share with you today, I want to thank all of those who encouraged me to work on my blog and who supported me, thank you so much for you contribution and support, I’m really happy with what I’ve done so far, and nothing makes me happier than continuing on sharing this with you. Thank you very much, Latibuleans!

Well, we start off the year with one of my favorite pieces. This pink blazer was one of my presents from my 18th birthday, I was so happy to have it. I like wearing pink, as you know and I especially like to combine it with black, I think it’s a pretty nice combination visually.

The pink reappears on the socks, one of my favorite pairs, and although not noticeable, it mixes well with the small red details of the shirt (floral pattern). All the rest is black.

The Vichy Blazer

Finalmente, terminaram as aulas!! Falta ainda a época de exames, mas já tenho tempo para respirar um bocadinho. Andei um mês desaparecido daqui, porque não tive tempo para mais nada senão estudar. Mas trago-vos já hoje uma sessão rápida que tirei para conseguir ter algo publicado antes de acabar o ano.

O que mais se destaca nesta publicação é o blazer. De patrão vichy, preto e branco, foi um achado na Zara: escondido, único, o tamanho certo, um desconto… Parecia que o estavam a guardar para mim.

Não quis adicionar muito mais cores neste look, manter-me pelo básico. Conjuguei aqui um padrão de borboletas na camisa, só para contrastar (e foi uma boa escolha visual). Tudo o resto preto, resulta num outfit elegante e simples, sempre com um ar mais clássico.

Digam-me em baixo o que acharam deste casaco, tal como de todo o outfit!!

E já que estamos a terminar dezembro, desejo a todos vocês que lerem isto um feliz ano novo!!

Finally school is over!! There are only exams in january, but I have some time to breathe now. I was gone from here for a month because I had no time for anything other than studying. But today I’m sharing with you a quick session that I took in order to publish something before the end of the year.

What stands out the most in this post is the blazer. Vichy pattern, black and white, it was a find in Zara: hidden, the only one, the right size, a discount… It looked like they were keeping it just for me.

I didn’t want to add many more colors to this look, I preferred to stay in the basics. I mixed a butterfly pattern on the shirt, just to contrast with the coat (and it was a good visual choice). Everything else is black, so it results in an elegante and simple outfit, always with a more classic look.
